Medication used to have an effect, now I just get tired
Jan 21, 2017 - 4:06 PM - by YouIdiot
I searched around but didn't find any other cases where medication used to give a stimulating effect but now does the opposite. ADD-I, I use concerta SR 5-10mg and Daytrana 10-15mg.
  • Historically, I would definitely feel a big difference after taking my meds. Euphoric, high energy, concentration, it was wonderful. If I combined with caffeine the effects would intensify.

Jan 20, 2017 - 5:46 PM - by wizzam hazzam

Analysis Paralysis!
Jan 20, 2017 - 12:46 PM - by Fraser_0762
As described on wiki: "Analysis paralysis or paralysis by analysis is the state of over-analyzing (or over-thinking) a situation so that a decision or action is never taken, in effect paralyzing the outcome. A decision can be treated as over-complicated, with too many detailed options, so that a choice is never made, rather than try something and change if a major problem arises. A person might be seeking the optimal or "perfect" solution upfront, and fear making any decision which... [Read More]

Inability to focus Vs Inability to prioritize
Jan 19, 2017 - 6:26 PM - by Fraser_0762
2 seperate issues or one of the same?

Let me give you a scenario. You're doing something right now, but are then interrupted by something else that you regard to be a higher priority to you right now, even if others wouldn't. (Ok, not really a scenario, but you get what I mean)

Would this be classed as poor concentration, or a poor ability to prioritize what is really more important in that moment? Or am I overthinking this and it's really 2 things that manifest... [Read More]
