Life Is Too Difficult - So Tired of Struggling
Jul 21, 2018 - 4:45 PM - by chris87
I feel like my life is too difficult, and I just want to give up. I'm so tired of struggling.

Everything is hard for me, and everything that I touch turns into a disaster. I have no motivation, and even though I want to change, I can't do it. I hardly ever look forward to starting my day, and I am never productive. I am constantly worried/nervous (health, money, future, etc). I had a stressful experience about a year ago, and it changed me somehow.

I also can't make... [Read More]

Managing work and adhd [advice?]
Jul 19, 2018 - 7:02 PM - by Quinzella
Hello! I was diagnosed within entering elementary school, and i never had treatment (my only known treatment was counseling for odd which didn't last long). I'm 20 now, and living with my boyfriend. I'm within my 3rd job within the customer service section--and it's waitressing. My last 2 jobs were going on a year each but i still made constant mistakes. Now that i'm actually living on my own (in the sense of aware from parents and fending for most of my necessities by myself) the effects of... [Read More]

Does anyone else get frustrated or mad because it all goes to work? (Your job)?
Jul 14, 2018 - 10:39 AM - by tomgrouncontrol
Since I've been on amphetamines (sometimes Adderall) my early mornings are very productive. It goes to the afternoon, the workplace might have an influence but I'm just starting to get frustrated and even mad because all this energy is put into the job.

I've taken a day job before I was on meds to help me get on my feet, now that I've sorted my life a bit, I feel like I could do something more awesome. For now, I have half a year before I decide to move on. Why can't I take day... [Read More]

Jul 12, 2018 - 2:33 PM - by Sparks77
Hi!
Looking for some input on meds. Recently diagnosed with depression and anxiety but I feel there is an ADHD component. Just learning about now due to sons diagnosis (hes currently on meds and has improved greatly) I see parallels between him and myself during childhood.

Was prescribed Lexapro for depression and anxiety saw some improvement in mood and motivation but developed a skin rash. When stopped taking could feel decrease in and motivation and increase... [Read More]

Considering quitting adderall
Jul 09, 2018 - 8:05 PM - by Whoseis
Looking for some objective perspective on my issue. I’ve been taking adderal IR and zoloft’s generic sertraline for the better part of 4 years as well as smoking cigarettes (roughly a pack a day). I was working a crappy slightly above minimum wage job and in December 2017 I had gotten fed up with it and quit and doing so also meant I lost my health insurance. Now I was already feeling depressed at this point in my life with my dead end job and no prospects for a better one, living... [Read More]
