Combined Hyperactive AND Inattentive
Mar 11, 2010 - 1:39 PM - by Pure19Ambition
So when I was young all my best friends used to be ADHD's. I, compared to them always was considered extremely calm, people actually thought I was epileptic. Dreaming, intensely. But when my puberty started, I slowly began accelerating everything, but kept the calm attitudes. This meant, in my head a lot was going on, but physically nothing really. Very emotional, you know the whole hyper thing, which sometimes made me become the 'cool' guy and even a fight or two (which I lost...) and then a... [Read More]

The Odyssey: "Drug Holiday" and... whoa!!
Mar 11, 2010 - 1:38 PM - by pembliss
I’m taking a “drug holiday” until sometime next week. When I emailed my doctor to let her know, I said one reason I wanted to do this was to get “re-acquainted with my untreated symptoms to see if the medication has been managing my symptoms better than I realized.”

Mar 11, 2010 - 10:31 AM - by Nick
I have always had trouble with math. Fractions, Algebra, geometry etc.

I know a lot of my peers had help at home from their parents, and tutors and stuff. I never had... [Read More]

A College Student With ADHD
Mar 11, 2010 - 1:22 AM - by orwell
hi everyone,

i am currently a freshman at Fairfield University. A few weeks ago, I went to a psychiatrist on my own prerogative and got diagnosed with depression. During the first week of my freshman year in high school, my dad died suddenly of a heart attack. Ever since then, I have never been able to concentrate on anything, whether it be homework, reading the newspaper, even when watching movies sometimes. I could start reading a book and after a few lines, I would be... [Read More]
