1st Day with Ritalin: Acid Containing Foods?

Today I took my 20mg Ritalin LA pill, which now as I understand lasts about 8 hours (10mg first, then another 10mg digests about 4 hours later)... I noticed a subtle difference in feeling and a little more concentration, but not too much. I'm not sure if this is due to the low dose that my doctor has me starting at, or perhaps some foods I have eaten? I took the first pill in the morning on an empty stomach then ate about 45 minutes later. I know oranges and orange juice can prohibit the digestion of the Ritalin, but are there any other foods to watch out for?

Thanks
