Lightbulb Thirteen Ways To Get To Sleep

Here are thirteen ways to make it easier to go to sleep. No one suggestion will work for everyone, but keep trying new tactics until you find what works for your situation:

(Adapted from The Book Healing ADD)

1. Don't watch television one to two hours before bedtime, especially any program that may be over stimulating.

2. Stay way from Stimulating activities one of two hours before bedtime.

3. Read "boring" books to help get to sleep

4. Take a warm relaxing bath.

5. Have somebody else give you a back rub or foot massage,

6. Listen to soft instrumental music

7. Listen to Nature sounds.

8. Some people say that restrictive bedding helps them sleep.

9. A mixture of warm milk, a teaspoon of vanilla (not imitation vanilla, the real stuff), and a teaspoon of sugar can be very helpful.

10. Listen to a tape called "Brain Train" from

11. Learn self-hypnosis.

12. Seek sleep Control therapy

13 Sometimes Medication may be necessary.
