Re: Bupropion HCl and Amphetamine combination produces a neutral affect?

do you think if I take my adderall after my wellbutrin instead of with it will make my adderall last longer? so far my adderall still causes a crash after a few hours

Re: Bupropion HCl and Amphetamine combination produces a neutral affect?

I was hoping starting wellbutrin would make me constantly happy because I thought dopamine was the happy feeling hormone or whatever.

Re: Bupropion HCl and Amphetamine combination produces a neutral affect?

This is a long and interesting thread, I just would like to add my 2 cents about timescales and an answer using a super simple model of the system.

D release triggered by amph might have a different timescale than the reuptake pump.

My understanding is that with Bupropion the goal is to increase D and NR in order to desensitise the receptors (make more receptors) on the other side (same as with SSRI), this is a long process, takes weeks.

So if a given amount of amph pours suddenly (matter of minutes) some D or NR into the bath of neurotransmitters then if the level of D and NR was high already (due to Bupropion) then this wont have as strong effect as it would without Bupropion.

Same principle goes for SSRI and why it prevents MDMA from having any effect.
