Lamictal and or latuda

Iíve run into some bad luck and basically feel depressed. I guess I have bipolar because Iím so up and down ( fleeting) with depression symptoms and anxiety driven hypomania, it comes when Iím stressed. Otherwise my bipolar is nonexistent. Iíve developed tendinitis or anxiety from the stress and the only thing I can say is on the bipolar meds I had no pain or physical anxiety? Is it possible that my muscle pain is all just anxiety and not tendinitis and would Latiuda and lamictal actually stop that pain? I slept great on bipolar meds and since stopping Iím up and down but donít want the weight Gain-

Re: Lamictal and or latuda

hello, Hollywood. Do you have a bipolar diagnosis or do you think you have it? If you don't have the diagnosis, think that ADHD itself can cause ups and downs in mood. Regarding the lamictal, I take it and I have to tell you that it does take away the muscle aches that often come from stress (somatization). They also give me some stability in the mood and it doesn't affect my weight. Maybe the weight gain is from Latuda. Ask your doctor if there is another antipsychotic that is more neutral with weight, such as abilify. Greetings !!

Re: Lamictal and or latuda

Yeah I have bipolar but have only had one episode. Other than that bipolar makes me shift moods often. Usually Iím fine . So lamictal helps with the stress muscle pain? When Iím not stress it completely goes away but when I am I can hardly walk around normally

I notice the stress at the base of the neck, trapezius muscle and shoulders. Lamictal helps a lot.
