When you have been exceedingly busy with work, studies and trade union work the last 5 months. So busy that you have been near mental breakdown the entire time... but as soon as things slow down you feel bored to tears and deeply depressed.

I f-ing hate this "all or nothing" way of living.

When you're a math graduate and when you're tutoring an enthusiastic student to prepare for his Middle School graduation exam, you're skimming through his math book worth 3 years of learning then wondering to yourself "How the hell did I master this? Didn't realize that I am this impressive for someone who kept called being an idiot".

My brother was great at math, but sucked at helping me understand.
Between us I managed to get a D in Algebra instead of Failing.

He couldn't spell, and I know he hated asking his younger sister for help
when he was writing an essay.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses. Too bad so many parents and
teachers fail to build on our strengths and shame us for our weaknesses.

Haha I do stuff like that. I often think it’s Friday when it’s Tuesday. Usually I am doing something at work that I wouldn’t be doing on a Friday.

..on the phone in your car at a red light. You hangup the phone by pressing the power button to your car instead of the hangup button on the view screen. Don't know if that's my ADHD or dyslexia..

Oops! Could be from either cause. Makes me glad my car doesn't have a start
button or a phone button. It's 13 years old.

Re: You Know You Have ADHD When ...

The problem I've had with this one is the headlights don't come on automatically in the evening. Was used to having automatic headlights before, now I have to turn them on manually. For reminders about what date/day of week it is, there are clocks that include the day/date. Some smartphones do, I think, but mine doesn't. I have to google what is the date repeatedly. Now that we pretty much stay home where it's safer, I need reminders.

If I turn on my headlights, they will automatically turn off a minute or so
after I turn off the car. So I would just leave them on except . . . it makes
it very difficult to see the gauges and dials on the dash when the headlights
are on.

My adult daughter had to replace my car battery last month, which meant
having to reset the radio (code number) and the clock. She drove it 3 hours
to Kansas City with no clock, and then we drove it 2.5 hours to Oklahoma
with no clock. I need to set the clock!
