Hello, mid-life ADHD woman and all that wobbles with that!

Hi all,

I'm an almost 50 year old female ADHDer and currently struggling with managing my ADHD amongst all the current fun hormone fluctuations of menopause. I know this is a particularly tricky time for we ADHD women as apparently the menopausal nose-dive in oestrogen causes additional problems with dopamine .. in and amongst all the other horrors of insomnia, hot flushes etc - couldn't be less glamourous! That on top of mid-life kids and elders juggle and it's all getting a bit much. I'd love to connect with similar folk and maybe share some ideas on how best to manage it all with diet / hormones etc.

Are there any subforums here where women are talking about these issues?

Thanks,
Meg
