Name calling

Hi my 7 year old son seems to have a symptom where he calls me names constantly like smelly and poo head Iíve noticed he is mean to one of his friends that comes to play; calling him annoying and boring all the time. He has been invited to this friends house and I said that he needs to try and remember to be kind when heís there. His now saying he doesnít want to go there to play because heíll forget to be nice ;-( now I feel really bad as I donít think he can help it? Any advice or suggestions welcome?

I think you need to know where did he learn those, my guess is he learns from either TV, internet, his neighbors, or his relatives since you said that his friends are nice.

Re: Name calling

talk to him about it and ask him where he learned that, if he is in school then maybe someone is bullying him?
