covering an extremely sensitive personality with concrete mask
Aug 01, 2015 - 6:37 PM - by daveddd
like if someone is extremely sensitive emotionally (cries like a baby when they here a love song, feeds the mice in their garage, so on ) but for some reason using a linguistic style that walls this off completely

could this be related to ADHD

this isn't about anyone in particular

Mood Swings(not just bipolar disorder!) ADHD as well!
Aug 01, 2015 - 5:31 PM - by Hyperman87
This morning,I had a swing in my mood, where before my Vyvanse kicked in. I feel a bit moody & irritable & after it started working, I felt totally like myself(stressed out by some-things but in general okay!)

Adults with ADHD suffer mood swings too. It's not just Bi-polar disorder, the difference is in the length of time the swings manifest & in severity. Also, people with ADHD don't have psychotic symptoms(unless there is another disorder causing them, that is!)

Studying for an online exam, and I cannot sustain focus for longer than 2 hours.
Jul 31, 2015 - 7:53 PM - by Chimchar

Hopefully enough to move out and start a new life. I made some plans with my significant other on moving to an apartment and eventually getting married and living like normal adults.

I am required to pass the state insurance license exam, and complete the investment license... [Read More]

going through CBT, or whatever (it's a bit of all I guess, emotional, CBT, acceptance etc...) I've noticed waves of learning, patterns. it's like, 2 months of struggling but overtime the realization happens, and then usually when the realization happens it happens fast.

no one is perfect, that's a stupid phrase. but going back and seeing how you were, and... [Read More]

emotional hyperfocus??
Jul 30, 2015 - 11:21 PM - by hg12345
HELP!! Im about to snap! Is there such a thing as hyperfocus on emotions? Its like one part of my brain enjoys and craves intense emotions (even horribly sad ones) but another part of me is dying to get rid of them. I cant get these sad thoughts out of my mind and its begging to really effect my mood. Why am I so stuck on these emotions? I literally cannot get my brain to stop going back to these thoughts. Is it the stimulation that Im craving? The butterflies in my stomach after my brain... [Read More]
